Our size charts, together with a few helpful fitting tips, will make it easier for you to find the sailfish wetsuit that fits you best. If your measurements place you between two sizes, we recommend prioritizing the weight guideline, as this is usually the most reliable factor when selecting the correct size.
Please note that different sailfish models may use different size charts. Always refer to the size chart specified for the particular model you are considering. Important: The sizing of the 2025 premium models has been updated. Please refer to the separate size chart for these models below.
How to properly put on your sailfish wetsuit
Putting on a wetsuit correctly is essential for both comfort and performance.
• Step into the wetsuit one leg at a time – never both legs simultaneously.
• Slowly pull the suit up to your knees. Tip: The curved knee seam should be centered over your kneecap.
• Gradually work the wetsuit up over your hips and seat, gently pulling from the inside of the suit rather than stretching the outer material.
• Insert one arm at a time, first pulling the sleeve over your wrist and then carefully adjusting the material up along your forearm, upper arm, and shoulder. Repeat on the other side.
• Once the suit is in place, ensure there are no air pockets between your armpits and the wetsuit. This is a good indication that the suit is positioned correctly.
• Close the zipper and fasten the Velcro collar. Tip: Whenever possible, ask someone to help you zip up the suit. This reduces strain on both the zipper and the neoprene, helping to extend the life of your wetsuit.
The wetsuit should fit snugly around your neck to minimize water entry while remaining comfortable.
