Training Goals Right Now

My international goals are to qualify for and compete in the U23 World Championships and the World University Championships. My national goal is to win the Swedish Cup.

Favorite Training Session

10 × 200 m threshold swim sets.

What Does a Typical Training Week Look Like?

  • 6 swimming sessions
  • 6 cycling sessions
  • 3 running sessions
  • 2 strength-training sessions

Average training volume: approximately 24 hours per week.

Why Triathlon?

I originally came from a swimming background. My father competed in triathlon when I was young and took part in events such as IRONMAN and ÖTILLÖ. When I was 10 years old, I asked if I could try triathlon too, and that's how it all started.

Best Sporting Memory

Competing at the 2024 Junior World Championships in Torremolinos and winning the 2025 Swedish Sprint Championship.

Current Training Goals

I’m currently in my base training phase, with the goal of building a strong foundation for the 2025 season. One of my targets is to run 10 km in under 30 minutes later this spring before the triathlon season begins. I also do a fair amount of e-cycling and plan to compete in the Swedish Championships, which will take place during SM Week in Borås in February.

Favorite Swim Session

10 × 400 m progressive intervals with a challenging send-off time, where the final 400 m should be swum really fast!

What Does a Typical Training Week Look Like?

It varies depending on the season and time of year, but I usually train between 20 and 26 hours per week. The breakdown is often approximately:

  • 50% cycling
  • 30% swimming
  • 20% running

In addition, I do two strength-training sessions per week.

Why Triathlon?

The training is incredibly varied, and there is always something to improve. There are also many different race distances to choose from, and the sport gives you the opportunity to compete in some amazing and beautiful locations.

Best Sporting Memory

The 2019 World Cup race in Antwerp, where I managed to finish in 2nd place and put together a really strong performance. It was an amazing event right in the city center, with large crowds and cobblestone streets creating a fantastic atmosphere.

Current Training Goals

Right now, my focus is on rebuilding my body sustainably after an injury and preparing for a strong 2025 season. The emphasis is on consistency, quality, and gradually increasing the training load. I also plan to place extra focus on the Swedish races this year, including the Swedish Championships and the Triathlon Cup series, with the goal of achieving strong results on home soil.

Favorite Swim Session

A tough threshold workout with short intervals, such as 20 × 100 m with short rest periods. Preferably alongside other swimmers who can push the pace.

What Does a Typical Training Week Look Like?

I typically complete 16–21 training sessions per week, including:

  • 5–6 swim sessions
  • 5–6 bike sessions
  • 4–5 run sessions
  • 4 strength-training sessions

Why Triathlon?

I love the combination of three different sports and the challenge it presents, both physically and mentally. The variety suits me perfectly, and I enjoy the long-term mindset required to continuously improve and develop as an athlete.

Best Sporting Memory

The 2022 European Championships in Munich, where I finished in 19th place. It was one of my first major international competitions and a very strong result in an exceptionally competitive field. Representing Sweden on that stage, feeling the support from the spectators, and competing against Europe's best athletes was an incredible experience. It gave me both motivation and confidence that I belong at that level.
