UW Games fins with angle.
These fins, specially designed for UW-Games, are highly powerful and manoeuvrable. The shape of the fins allows rapid pick-up and stops.
The blade is covered with soft rubber and edged with slightly round rubber strap in order to protect other players from damages and to provide maximized game safety.
Don't stand or walk with this fins on land. Blade can brake in the angle area when body weight pressure forces the blade to be straight.
The neoprene toe caps that are included, protect your feet and make the fins more comfortable to wear.
Fins measures with foot size XL ~ 22 (width) x 54cm (length)
Weight ~1,9 kg
Your fin will be hand made after order. Delivery time normally 3-4 weeks.
Fiberglass-blade fins are designed to deliver maximum performance in competition and match play. Fiberglass fins are engineered for high efficiency in the water, but not for rough handling, heavy impacts, hard blows, extreme bending, or improper push-offs.
Fiberglass blades are highly responsive, meaning they have very fast recoil. This results in higher swimming speed and improved swimming efficiency compared to traditional rubber fins.
If a fiberglass blade is subjected to stress beyond the material's elastic limit, the fiberglass fibers may become damaged or break, which can cause the blade to crack or snap.
Leaderfins fiberglass blades are manufactured to a high standard and, under normal conditions, can withstand more than 2,000 km of swimming. This assumes that starts, turns, and push-offs are performed with proper technique and body control. A correct push-off transfers force through the entire foot against the pool wall, rather than through the toes or the fin blade itself.
For beginners in underwater rugby, or for players primarily looking for a durable training fin, we recommend rubber fins as the first choice. Rubber fins are significantly more resistant to improper push-offs, impacts, and collisions that may occur during training and match play. We particularly recommend POwerfins rubber fins, which are likely among the fastest non-fiberglass fins available on the market.
If a fiberglass blade breaks during underwater rugby use, the damage is normally not covered by warranty. Warranty claims can only be accepted if it can be established that the damage was caused by a manufacturing defect.
